The Key to God’s Redemptive Mission 11 Feb 09

To all my beloved brothers and sisters,
Before saying that you love God, we probably should ask:
Do you confess your sins to one another?
Have you come to apologize to those you know you have sin against? Even from years ago?
Do you care for one another?
Do you even think of the good of one another?
Do you pray for your brothers and sisters?
It is very heart brokening for me when i often hear these statements, "I love God, i am honoring God...", but at the same time
sinning against another person, judging another person and even cursing their own fellow church mates.
many times we are like that... deceiving ourselves for being a Holy Godly person, righteous and good..
The truth is when we encounter God, then we will know how sinful and wicked we are.
So I said: "Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts." '(Isaiah 6:5)
What the sin's in your life that needs to be uproot and Remove?
Before we grow deep downwards to Replace?
And to bear fruit upwards as to Revive?
God's Call for GNBC
2 kings 19:28-30
28 Because you rage against me
and your insolence has reached my ears,
I will put my hook in your nose
and my bit in your mouth,
and I will make you return
by the way you came.'
29 "This will be the sign for you, O Hezekiah:
"This year you will eat what grows by itself,
and the second year what springs from that.
But in the third year sow and reap,
plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
30 Once more a remnant of the house of Judah
will take root below and bear fruit above.
Our church cant grow, our cell group cant grow, we can't really have freedom in relating, we can't really outreach...
Until we have 1 body, 1 soul, 1 mind... loving one another. The key is LOVE!
Work towards it and see God Glorified!
"That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. (John 17:21)
God often speaks of human relationships as a part of His mission to redeem a lost world (John 13:20; Matt. 25:40). One reason He gives for a husband and wife to live in unity is so they can produce a “godly seed,” that is, children who love and obey God, who can be used in God’s mission to bring redemption to a lost world_(Mal. 2:14–15). Similarly, the church is the body of Christ. A church cannot be on mission with the Father in our world if its members are waging war with one another_(1 Cor. 12:12). There is a crucial connection between our relationships with others and the salvation of those around us.We might assume that during Jesus’ prayer before His crucifixion, He would have prayed that His disciples would have courage, or would remain faithful, or would remember what they had been taught. Yet He asked that His followers would remain united in their love for one another. Jesus understood that it is spiritually impossible to love God but not love others.
A test of your love for God is to examine your love for others. Our tendency is to say, “Heavenly Father, the problem is not between You and me. I love You with all my heart. I just don’t love my brother.” And God says, “That is an impossibility. You cannot love Me without loving the ones for whom My Son died” (John 13:34–35). Your life will not convince those around you of the reality of Jesus if you cannot live in unity with your fellow Christians.
Jesus's command is this:
To love one another, so that that world may know Him.
Remember to love one another
and do the thing that pleases Him
