Whom Is God Sending to You?

To all my beloved brothers and sisters,

God gave us all the gifts and strength for His work. We were actually never lacking, because God prepared everything. God put people from inside church and outside church that we can serve them and present God to them, ministering to them.

To our church members we disciple them, hear them, understand them, share our faith, strengthening and loving one another, serving in the different ministries to facilitate the church.
To non believers, we share God's love, we invest in the friendship with them, we go and understand them, sharing our testimonies and gospel, praying for them to know Christ.

But yet Often we feel tired and reluctance to serve and do the work of God, some of us failed miserably, some of us do God's work but without joy. We simply lost our focus. We become so self-centered like the disciples that we lost the power and strength to serve God.

What are you concern with? Your career? Relationship? Loneliness? Status? Your needs? Hurts? Anger? Problems in church?

Just like Samson who lost his power because of his idolatry over Delilah. He lost his power due to his self-centerness. And the same for us, we allow our "hair" to be cut off.

But there is always hope, because God is ever loving and forgiving.
And so Samson crushed the Philistines and Israel is release from the yoke of oppression.

Focus on God.

So this is my prayer:
" Lord forgive me, because i never really looked at You. I have been selfish, i am always concern about myself than Your concerns. I choose to do things my own way and grab the desires I want for myself. Thus I feel tired and pain. Bring me back to you and do Your work, not mine. Because I know You are ever loving and forgiving, my true need.
Thank you Lord..."

God's msg to us:
Repent to UpRoot
Replace to Take Root
Revive to Bear Fruit

Whom Is God Sending to You?

"So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him."

Then Jesus answered and said, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you?

How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me." (Matthew 17:16-17)

Jesus gave His disciples the power to cast out demons and to perform miracles of healing (Matt. 10:8). He gave them His authority to minister to people, yet they became so self-centered that they lost the power to do the work of God. When God sent a father with his epileptic son to them for healing, they failed miserably. They were so concerned with position and status (Mark 9:32–35) that they lost their focus on what God wanted to do through them.

Jesus’ response to His disciples included some of the harshest words ever to come from His mouth. He called His own disciples “unbelieving” and “perverse” and questioned how much longer He had to endure them! Why? Because they were supposed to be on mission with Him to bring salvation to others, but they had become so disoriented to Him that they were spiritually powerless, lacking the faith to bring physical and spiritual comfort to those God had sent to them.

God ought to be able to send a hurting person to any child of His and expect that they will be helped. Like the disciples, we can become so preoccupied with our own ambitions and distracted by the busyness of our lives that we become ineffective in ministering to those whom God sends to us. It is even possible to become so involved in religious activity that we are of no help to anyone. Regularly take inventory of your life to see if you are being a faithful steward of every life God sends to you.
